About Chavez Estate

Chavez Estate is one of those places you excitedly tell friends about the moment you leave, and I usually introduce it as a laid-back cafe escape tucked away in Silang, Cavite in the Philippines, where good food, relaxed conversations, and fresh air naturally come together. When people ask what kind of spot it is, I describe Chavez Estate as calm and welcoming, the type of cafe where time slows down without trying too hard, making it ideal for casual meetups, quiet afternoons, or spontaneous coffee dates. The setting feels open and easy, and if you enjoy being outdoors, the outdoor seating is a highlight that lets you soak in the cool Silang breeze while sipping on freshly prepared coffee. Inside, the atmosphere stays cozy and unpretentious, giving the space a lived-in charm that feels more like visiting a friend’s countryside home than a formal restaurant. I often mention that Chavez Estate offers flexible service options, whether you want to dine in and linger, grab takeaway on a busy day, or enjoy a relaxed meal under the open sky. The menu experience leans toward simple but satisfying, with small plates that are perfect for sharing, pairing effortlessly with their coffee selection or a glass of wine. For those who like a more indulgent visit, the availability of alcohol adds a social touch, making the place just as suitable for late afternoon hangouts as it is for slow mornings, and the wine options naturally complement the mellow cafe vibe without overpowering the experience. What I appreciate most when introducing Chavez Estate is how it blends cafe comfort with a gentle social energy, creating a space where conversations flow easily, moments feel unrushed, and each visit adapts smoothly to different moods, plans, and reasons for stopping by, whether you come alone or with company.

I saw this in a reel in fb, so I got curious and decided to go here for early dinner. The staff was very welcoming, they have an al fresco area but we stayed inside in the air conditioned area. There were no other guests, since its a weekday and odd hour when we came. First things first, must try adlai and quinoa champorado!! Loved it!! If I can only eat one thing here this is eat, I mean this is it :). The champorado was not sweet, very chocolatey, perfectly balanced with the dried fish. I haven’t eaten champorado for so long because I don’t eat rice, so this is just the best option for me! We also ordered the Chavez Estate salad, it was huge but the 2 of us were able to finish it, I do like the dressing. The potato wedges have really good flavour together with the garlic aioli. The chicken inasal was juicy, we asked to switch the rice with salad and they gladly agreed. They have a lot of coffee options, but we opted for non-coffee, so we ordered hot matcha which tastes good but sweet for us. The chamomile tea was dried chamomile flowers in a tea bag so we really liked it. Overall, we had a wonderful time! I’m glad that they offer a lot of healthy options and not just the typical meals with rice like other restaurants in the area. The food is also priced very well. Will definitely come back here with family and friends.

It's such a nice place! It's cozy and has very good food. GOOD FOOOOD!! I come here with my family every other week and its always great service. It's a wonderful place to come chill, chat, and bond with your favorite people (even a solo ride is cool). I definitely recommend others to come here. The treehouse is nice too, by the way. My favorites from the menu are the Beef Tapa, Naked Longganisa, and the Vegan Bolognese! Ahh, happy tummy!

Often passed by the place without stopping. Often full of people. Finally decided to try for late dinner past 8pm. Very pleasant experience. Very quiet inside. Friendly staff and excellent food. Everything prepared fresh so we waited around 45 minutes for our orders that were all served hot at the same time. Everything we had was delicious. Potato wedges, pork steak and crusted salmon with a glass of Australian wine. Great place for a date. Updated: the salad is huge. I loved the kare-kare. Very meaty and saucy. I had to order extra rice. Also tried to chili garlic shrimps. Delicious too.

One of the best restaurants in Silang. I enjoy every visit here because of the great and affordable food. The fillo crusted salmon is a must try!

A little pricy for Silang area but it's seems fair with the portions. Ambiance is country cafe/chic with both indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee was overpriced in my personal opinion, but hey to each his own. We liked the tree house but since we have a toddler we stayed in the cafe. ps. as if the this review, they don't have an highchair.

This is a very nice place, with great food to boot (tried only 2 when we visited but I'm guessing the rest on their menu taste great as well) and I can't wait to come back. You sign in at the door, get your temp checked, then they guide you to the dining area - an open space with tables and chairs made of wood that remind me of my grandparents' furniture in their farm. Tried their salmon and lechon kawali, and as I already said they all taste as great as they look.
